About Me
My name is Kaitlyn McElroy of Latched On Mama. I was a Labour and Delivery nurse in New Hampshire for 7 years before I chose to become an IBCLC. I have been a Registered Nurse since 2014 and have spent that time welcoming babies into the world and helping mothers breastfeed and bond with them.
My husband Evan and I have two beautiful children together, Jack and Madelyn. We are expecting our third this summer! After the birth of my son Jack, I was so thankful and impressed with what I learned as a new mother from my breastfeeding challenges that it lit a fire in me. I want to help other parents feel the support and compassion I felt as a new parent.

I’ve been an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) since 2019. I specialize in creating personalized care plans and providing the necessary tools and resources to guide, support, and assist you in achieving your desired breast or bottle feeding outcomes.
The essence of my work is to facilitate understanding of infant feeding and behaviour by identifying the source of issues or challenges. As a result, you can effectively overcome and confidently reach your long-term breastfeeding goals.
“[Kaitlyn] offers a uniquely qualified perspective because of her background and experience. I would highly recommend!” - Ashley
